Tall Trey
Tall Trey

Carlos Perry
Carlos Perry
In an interesting time in history, there needs to be a voice of logic, reasoning and silly-ness to guide a crowd through the fog of nonsense. Carlos comedic style is raw, interesting and definitely honest. Focusing on any kind of inequality that is not practical, efficient or just bias overall.

Carlos Perry was born in Monroe, GA in 1987 on Halloween. At a young age, Carlos has also been interested in the arts, music especially. He took every opportunity to make music a career from performing to producing to stage hand for shows. Carlos didn’t really think he’d ever find himself telling jokes at any point of his life. He’s always been a fan of stand up. Patrice O’Neal, Bill Burr, Tom Sequra and Corey Holcomb deeply influenced the urge to write jokes. In 2013, Carlos tried his first time at The Laughing Skull (Atlanta) in from of 150 people! He bombed and took an immediate hiatus of 3 months. He tried again at Star Bar (Atlanta) and bombed EVEN HARDER! After another hiatus while moving to North Carolina. With a poor economic environment, Carlos attacked as many stages as possible, however with no way to finance his endeavors, he packed up his 1994 Ford Escort, took a leap of faith and drove to South Florida for a different way of living as well as the many opportunities for comedy and music.

Carlos’ goal now is to murder stages across the US and to add a new perspective to old and new concerns. With quick wit and dry sarcasm, Carlos plans to be “tastefully offensive” and just downright funny with jokes about his life and childhood as a Black/White kid with 2 Spanish names. Carlos touches on racism, sex, ridiculous concepts and history. In a time where political correctness is running rampant, Carlos plans to challenge all aspects of political correctness, feminism and bigotry.
